After more than two years of effectively being shut, New Zealand’s international borders will be fully reopened by 1 August 2022.
All work visa categories, including the new Accredited Employer Work Visa, will open for applications on 4 July 2022, while student and visitor visa applications will again be possible from 31 July 2022 onwards.
Because of pent-up demand, we do anticipate that visa processing will take a bit longer than what may previously have been the case, but we are excited to again welcome offshore workers, students and visitors (from all corners of the world) to New Zealand.
